CIty of the Gods is done! Books to ship soon!

Yes - it's true - After a long delay, City of the Gods: Guardian has been printed and will be shipping very soon!  Steve Crompton finished all the art and layout a week or two ago (along with some final proofing corrections) and we have heard back that the new book has been printed and will be shipped within the next few days.

Those of you who were part of our Kickstarter for this book will get the copies you ordered shipped to you once we get them.  Don't forget that we have to sign and number them first (as promised).  We are two months behind schedule, but it's all done and it's just a matter of time before you will be holding the book in your hands!

You're going to see a lot of familiar characters from the first book as we follow their stories in this saga.  D'Molay, Mazu, Sergius, Lamasthu, Sekhmet, Tenh-Mer, Eros, Glaucus, Sophia and more  are all there waiting for you, along with many new characters and gods, including Bast, Circe, Charon, Helios, The Soul of Thule and more.  You'll also find out more about the culture of the Centaurs and the Sphinx and why there are two moons.

The final book ended up being 440 pages long (about 10 pages longer than the 1st book) and will have over 175 illustrations.  Many of the same classic artists whose work appeared in the first book will also have work in this new book, along with many new (yet famous) names from the history of art.  Many of of them are 19th century painters and engravers, including Frederic Leighton, Lawrence Alma Tadma,  Leon Commere, Edward Burne-Jones, William Bouquereau and many others.  Steve Crompton has created some great digital collages using new and old art.  There are also many pieces by Gustave Dore.   Below is another piece in color.  All the pieces in the book will be black and white.

We can't wait for you to see it!  M.Scott
